THEME: DELIGHT IN THE LORD

Matthew 6:33 NKJV

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

INSIGHT

–To delight in the Lord entails to prioritize God and His kingdom. The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17). God therefore releases His grace and blessings to respond to our hearts desires.

SUMMARY

To delight in the Lord means to rejoice in the Lord and trust in Him. Firstly, when we delight in the Lord, we delight in His laws and meditate of it day and night (Psalms 1:1-3). Secondly, to delight in the Lord, exposes us to pray and call on the Lord (Job 27:10). Third, when we delight in the Lord and diligently seek Him through faith, we receive our reward (Hebrews 11:6). Finally, when we delight in the Lord, He grants us our hearts desires (Psalms 37:3-5).

PRAYER

Dear LORD Jesus may You answer us in the day of trouble. May Your name defend us and send us help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion. May You remember all our offerings, and accept our burnt sacrifice. May You grant us according to our heart’s desire and fulfill all our purpose. Dear LORD Jesus we rejoice in Your salvation and in Your name we set up our banners. May You dear LORD fulfill all our petitions. May You dear LORD Jesus supply all our need according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Amen
