THEME: DELIGHT IN THE LORD

Job 27:10 NKJV

“Will he delight himself in the Almighty? Will he always call on God?”

INSIGHT

–To delight in the Lord requires consistent prayer for the effective and fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much (James‬ ‭5‬:‭16‬). A truly pious man will delight in the Almighty and pray to God our salvation. Our supreme happiness is found in God and have pleasure in the contemplation of His existence, perfections, law, and government.

PRAYER

We sing to You LORD and shout joyfully to You the Rock of our salvation. We come before Your presence with prayer and thanksgiving and shout joyfully to You with psalms. You LORD are the great God and the great King above all gods. We trust in You LORD and hope in You for only You are our God, and all blessings and favor come from Your divine abode. We trust in You dear Lord Jesus with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding and in all our ways acknowledge You for You shall direct our paths. We shall not be wise in our own eyes, but we fear You and You shall grant us the grace to always depart from evil which is health to our flesh and strength to our bones. Teach us to pray and pray effectively precious Holy Spirit. All glory, honor, power and praise belongs to You dear Lord Jesus now and forever. Amen
