THEME: FEAR OF THE LORD

Colossians 3:22 ESV

“Bondservants, obey in everything those who are your earthly masters, not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but with sincerity of heart, fearing the Lord.”

INSIGHT

–The fear of the Lord requires that bond servants should obey their masters with respect, sincerity of heart, just as they obey Christ. Obedience to masters is not only to win their favor when their eye, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from their hearts, serving them wholeheartedly, as if they were serving the Lord, not people and the Lord will reward each one for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free (Ephesians 6:5-8).  

PRAYER

We magnify You LORD and exalt Your holy name. We sought You LORD, and You answered us and delivered us from all our fears. Lord You are near the brokenhearted and save the crushed in spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but You LORD deliver us out of them all. Dear Lord Jesus may You help us and deliver us from all our tribulations. Lord, may You help every one of us to serve You and those in authority with fear and trembling as unto You dear Jesus. We worship You Lord for only You fill us with the Spirit of the fear of the Lord for Your glory. Amen
