Isaiah 40:31 NKJV
“But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”
INSIGHT
–Waiting on God is to stand firm in faith, actively trusting that His timing, ways, and purposes are higher than ours. It is both a discipline of patience and a declaration of dependence of God and not on our own strength. Sometimes we might grow weary given the disappointments that life presents our way, but God encourages us that He renews our strength, if we wait on Him.
PRAYER
Dear Lord You are our hope and strength, all our trust is in You. You are our Fortress and Shield, our Christ and King, none can compare to You. At the mention of Your name, every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus You are Lord to the glory of God the Father. May You renew our strength dear Lord Jesus. May Your lift us and cover us from every storm. We shall surely mount up with wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, walk and not faint. We shall do all things through You Christ who strengthens us. We wait on You dear Lord Jesus, all our hope and trust is in You. We worship You Lord and give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray trusting and believing. Amen
Blessed Week

“Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!”
INSIGHT
–This scripture encourages believers to be courageous and patient, knowing that God will strengthen our hearts as we wait. It also highlights the importance of trusting in God’s timing and not giving in to despair when faced with difficult situations like diseases, delay, lack, missed opportunities, loss or bereavement, etc., but to trust in God and wait on Him and we shall surely prosper. As the Lord encouraged Joshua to be strong and very courageous and observe to do according to all the law that he may prosper wherever he does (Joshua 1:7), we are called to follow God and His law unreservedly that we may prosper in all that we do.
PRAYER
Dear Lord You are our Strength and Shield. You are our Salvation and Refuge. In You Lord we put our trust. We wait on You Holy Spirit, may You fill us afresh and anoint us for the work that You have entrusted us to do. May You strengthen all those who are disillusioned, distressed, depressed, sick and bereaved. May You grant comfort and strength to all those who are weeping the loss of their loved ones. May You establish the work of our hands, yes Lord establish the work of our hands. May You make us extremely fruitful in every sphere of our lives. We honor You dear Lord Jesus and give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.”
INSIGHT
–Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall (Proverbs 16:18). The one who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted (Luke 14:11). God requires that we walk humbly as we wait on Him for favor and blessings. Proverbs 22:4 explains that, humility and the fear of the Lord results to riches and honor and life. In all these things, God invites us to do good, and uphold justice, love mercy and walk humbly with Him (Micah 6:8).
PRAYER
We are at Your feet dear Lord Jesus and call on You for help. We need You dear Lord to help us and deliver us from every burdensome situation. We cast all our cares and burdens unto You Jesus for You care for us. May You fill us with Your grace of humility that comes before honor. We ask for a renewal of our hearts and minds that we may be enlightened each day and every moment, for in Your light we see light. May You fill us with the light of Your salvation and deliver us from the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, pride of life and every evil thing that comes to blind us from Your presence. May You fill our hearts Holy Spirit with the fear of the Lord that precipitates wisdom. May You fill all leaders with Your wisdom and cause a positive change to take place in our nation. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forevermore. Amen

“So when Jesus came, He found that he had already been in the tomb four days. Now Bethany was near Jerusalem, about two miles away. And many of the Jews had joined the women around Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother. Now Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met Him, but Mary was sitting in the house. Now Martha said to Jesus, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.
