THEME: THIRSTY FOR GOD

Psalms 34:8-9 NKJV

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! There is no want to those who fear Him.”

INSIGHT

–Trusting in God and in His power is a vital requirement for every believer. Often time people forget and look at their personal abilities and judge others from their weaknesses. In the conquest between David and Goliath, the Israel army looked at Goliath’s stature and fled in fear, David esteemed the power of God highly and the Lord gave him victory (1 Samuel 17:45-59). God calls us to trust in Him with all our hearts, and lean on our own understanding, but in all our ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight our paths (Proverbs 3:5).

PRAYER

We bless Your name Lord at all times, and Your praise shall continually be in our lips. Our souls shall make its boast in You Lord, the humble shall hear of it and be glad. We magnify You Lord and exalt Your holy name together. Dear Lord Jesus You love You and praise Your holy name. May You sanctify us whole body, soul and spirit dear Jesus. Lord You do not desire sacrifice, or else we would give it but a broken spirit, a broken and contrite heart these, You will not despise. Teach us Oh Lord to always do Your will and to trust You with all our hearts. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forevermore. Amen
