THEME: GOD ANSWER’S PRAYERS

Psalms 20:1-4 NKJV

May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion; May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. Selah May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your purpose.”

INSIGHT

God hears our prayers even when we call on Him and seek Him over a period of time. Some answers take time as God builds up our faith in Him like in the case of Abraham, the father of faith. God is faithful to hear and respond to our deepest desires entrenched in our hearts, including the unspoken needs. God also considers our offerings and sacrifices channeled to Him directly or indirectly like in the case of Cornelius the Italian Regiment, where the angel in his vision responded saying, “Your prayers and your alms have come up for a memorial before God” (Acts 10:4).

PRAYER

The heavens declare Your glory Lord and the firmament show Your handiwork. Day after day utters speech and night after night reveals knowledge. May the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable in Your sight O Lord, our strength and Redeemer. May You redeem us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness and wash us with Your precious blood. Save us Oh Lord, may You answer us when we call. May all our sacrifices and offerings come to remembrance before You dear Jesus. We worship You Lord and give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

Blessed Week
