THEME: HUMILTY BEFORE GOD
James 4:6 NKJV
“But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”
INSIGHT
–One of the things that the Lord hates is a proud look (Proverbs 6:17). God opposes those who are egoistic, arrogant and have a self-seeking attitudes but freely provides enabling grace to those who acknowledge their need for Him.
PRAYER
Dear Lord Almighty how great are You Lord in all the heavens and the earth. Lord You command Your lovingkindness in the daytime and Your song shall be with me in the night. O Lord make haste to deliver us, make haste to help us. Let them be ashamed and confounded who seek our lives. Let them be turned back and confused who desire our hurt. Lord we are poor and needy, make haste to deliver us for You are our help and deliverer, do not delay. Let all those who seek You Lord rejoice and be glad in You. Let those who love Your salvation say continually, “Let God be magnified! Lord God Almighty, be magnified in all the heavens and the earth. Be exalted and glorified all day long. May You anoint us afresh precious Holy Spirit with Your fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control. We worship You Lord and give You praise. Amen
