THEME: LOOK TO JESUS
Jeremiah 17:5-8 NKJV
“Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord. For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.”
INSIGHT
–An antithesis of two prime conditions often demystified in scriptures, a blessing and a curse are evidenced. A person who does not look to Jesus but relies on man is cursed, and trusts in his own strength. He faces harsh conditions of life and does not progress. On the contrary, the person who relies on God and looks to Him is blessed. He is not moved by harsh times or situations since his/her roots are connected to the source of water and life. We pray that during this month, we shall not cease from yielding fruit, in and out of season.
PRAYER
We clap our hands and exalt Your holy name dear Lord Jesus for You are worthy of all our praise. You are our only God dear Jesus, we have no other and put all our hope and trust in You. We declare that we are blessed of You Lord and cannot be cursed. We declare that this month we shall be exceedingly fruitful according to Your promise to Abraham. That You are making nations of us, and kings shall come from us. Thank You for the covenant that You have established with us and our descendants an everlasting covenant of blessings and fruitfulness. Thank You for what You doing unto us this month, it shall not be thrawted by the devil and his agents dear Lord Jesus. Thank You for Your favor and grace upon our lives. All glory, honor, power and strength belongs to You dear Jesus, now and forever. Amen
Blessed Tuesday
