THEME: GREAT EARTHQUAKE
Acts 16:25-28 NKJV
“But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. And the keeper of the prison, awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”
INSIGHT
–The Lord in His supernatural ways employs nature to cause a miracle for the deliverance of His people. At the prison, Paul and Silas trusted in God and in His mighty power when they started to pray and sing hymns. They did not loose heart but believed that the Lord was able to save and deliver them from every situation. God can cause a great earthquake to shake the foundations of every adverse situation in our lives that seems like a prison and break every form of chain, for the glory and honor of His name.
PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus we believe that You are our Lord and Savior, our only God, the beginning and the end, the first and the last, our Father Almighty. We revere You and worship in Your presence. At the mention of Your name dear Lord Jesus every knee bows and every tongue confesses that dear Lord Jesus, You are God to the glory of God the Father. At the mention of Your name dear Jesus every prison foundation is shaken and door open, and all chains are broken by Your power and Your precious blood. Dear Lord Jesus You reign and You reign forever. You are exalted in all the heavens and all the earth, may You break every chain in our lives, families, businesses, work, communities and nation, and set us free from every limitation and bondage. Do a new thing during this season and accelerate us to the next level dear Lord Jesus, for Your glory. Amen
