THEME: EXCEEDINGLY FRUITFUL

John 15:1-2 NKJV

“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”

INSIGHT

Our Father takes tender interest in each branch and is continually watching over the health, fruitfulness, and productivity of it. We are the branches of the Vine who is Christ and our Father is the vinedresser. The branches depict both those who proclaim faith with their words yet remain lifeless to our Lord’s redeeming blood and those true believers whose branches pulsate with His life, His strength, His vigor, His beauty and His productivity which will most definitely evidence His fruit. Some among us who do not bear fruit have become hopeless, stressed, depressed and disillusioned in their faith. Some are frustrated over delays in financial growth, relational progress, work and business deterioration, diseases, and other diverse challenges. Proverbs 13:12 reminds us that, hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life. Jesus is the Tree of life who calls us today and forevermore to dwell in Him and rely upon Him and we will find rest for our souls.

SUMMARY

It is God’s that we become exceedingly fruitful this year according to His word, a promise that He gave to Abraham in Genesis 17:6 that says, “I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you.” We are the seed of Abraham if we believe in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and partakers of his promise. If then we seek the blessing of Abraham, we must therefore be willing to walk like he did in faith and obedience. Isaiah 1:19-20 says that, “If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, You shall be devoured by the sword”; For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” We are called to have the faith and obedience of Abraham in full devotion to God. Many are the plans that we have for this year 2025, but it is the Lord’s will that prevails. It is the Holy Spirit who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21).

PRAYER

Jesus You are the Vine and we are the branches, apart from You we can do nothing. We need You in our lives deeper and deeper, more and more. We need more of You each and every moment. Like a deer pants for streams of water so our souls yearn for You. You are our Good God, our Almighty Father, our great I Am, our all in all. We lift Your name high and exult You. May You rescue all those who are depressed and going through diverse life issues. May You grant them Your peace that surpasses all human understanding. May Your gift of salvation be evidence in the lives and families of all those who do not know You. You have said in Your word that blessed is the one who fears You and walks in Your ways. When we eat the labor of our hands, we shall be happy, and it shall be well with us. It shall surely be well with us this year. We believe that we shall be extremely fruitful since we abide in You and You in us. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in Your house forever. May the Lord bless You and keep You this year, may He shine His face upon You and be gracious to You. May He lift up You His countenance towards You and give You peace. Amen

Have a Fruitful New year 2025
