THEME: POWER AND AUTHORITY

Psalms 118:21-25 NKJV

“I will praise You, For You have answered me, And have become my salvation. The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing; It is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. Save now, I pray, O Lord; O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.”

INSIGHT

–Jesus Christ is the stone that was rejected by mankind, He suffered and died for our sins. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and held in low esteem (Isaiah 53:3). Jesus was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities, suffered and became the chief cornerstone and is lifted to the high places far above every principality, power, ruler and authorities. We therefore have the privilege to worship and exalt God our Maker, who has all the power and authority.

PRAYER

We praise You Lord and bless Your name. We praise You Lord and worship You. We praise You Lord for You are good and we sing praises to Your name for this is pleasant. You are indeed worthy of all our praise. Jehovah take all the glory, honor and praise for You are worthy of all power and authority . May You bless all the street families and deliver them from their troubles and protect them. May You save us and help to prosper and make an impact in the society dear Lord Jesus. Amen
