Proverbs 13:22 NKJV
“A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, But the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.”
INSIGHT
–Generational blessings are built on a foundation of strong Christian values, faith, grace and wisdom. The main scriptures outline the real inheritance includes proper character, reputation and spiritual heritage in Christ, not just wealth and property especially gotten through corruption. It is prudent to note that wealth gained righteously should be managed with foresight, but the wicked cannot secure a lasting legacy through unrighteous means. Proverbs 10:22 reveals that the blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.
PRAYER
We bless Your name Lord God Almighty with all our hearts and soul and with everything that is within us we bless Your holy name. We bless Your name Lord and do not forget all Your benefits. You who forgives all our iniquities, heals all our diseases, redeems our lives from destruction, crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies and satisfies our mouths with good things, so that our youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Lord You execute righteousness and justice to all who are oppressed. Lord You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. You do not always strive with us, nor keep Your anger forever. Lord You do not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities, for as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is Your mercy toward all those who fear You. As far as the east is from the west, so far have You removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, so do You pity us who fear You Oh Lord. May You have mercy on us and show us Your divine favor and grace together with our generations. May You bless the work of our hands and teach us to make wealth. May You help us and teach us to leave a worthwhile heritage to our children’s children by Your grace dear Jesus and give us all an imperishable inheritance that does not fade away. We worship You Lord and give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
