THEME: GOD’s POSSIBILITIES
John 11:41-44 NKJV
“Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, “Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me.” Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with graveclothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth. Jesus said to them, “Loose him, and let him go.”
INSIGHT
–Jesus is a miracle working God. Apart from raising Lazarus from the dead, he healed the lame, lepers, paralytic and the blind. Matthew 15:30 reveals that Jesus healed, large crowds among them the lame, blind, mute, maimed and others. God is able to heal, save, deliver and provide for all our needs however difficult they might look.
SUMMARY
The word possible in Hebrew is Nitán and Greek is Dynatós which means viable, feasible and in a higher sense, no possibility is an impossibility. God is Lord of all flesh, He is asking in Jeremiah 32:27 is there anything too hard for Me?” God requires that we put our faith in Him for whatever we ask when we pray, we are required to believe that we will receive and we will have them (Mark 11:24). Whatever is impossible with men, it is possible with God, for with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27). God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20-21).
PRAYER
God You have instructed us saying, trust in the Lord with all your heart and learn not on your own understanding, and in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make every crooked path straight. We trust in You Lord and believe in You for nothing is impossible with You. You are the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, You change not. You are the same yesterday, today and forever, nothing is too hard with You. You have called us to be bold and courageous for You are with us and You are our God, who strengthens, helps us, and upholds us with Your righteous right hand, we worship You. May You open double doors for us and and make us exceedingly fruitful. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forevermore. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in Your house Lord forever and ever. Amen
Blessed Weekend
