Proverbs 4:25-27 NKJV

“Let your eyes look straight ahead, And your eyelids look right before you. Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established. Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.”

INSIGHT

–As we begin the year, it is valuable to evaluate our steps and plans. We are reminded to critically evaluate the path of our feet and let our ways be established. Direction and not speed, determines our destination. God calls us to evaluate and consider His path before choosing our course of action. God orders our steps and guides us in the way of righteousness and requires us to avoid evil as we look ahead to Him.  

PRAYER

Abba Father we worship You and give You all the praise. We exalt You our God and King and praise Your holy name forever and ever. Every day we praise You and extol Your name forever and ever. Great are You Lord and most worthy of our praise. Your greatness noone can fathom, Your word will never change. Your word indeed Lord is a lamp to our feet and a light to our paths. Lord You say in Your word that, whether we turn to the right or to the left, our ears will hear a voice behind us, saying, this is the way; walk in it, we believe in You and desire Your guidance always. We stand at the crossroads in need of the direction to Your ancient paths. May You show us Your way of life and deliver us from all evil we look to You. May You restore unto us the years that the locusts have eaten this year and move us from one glory to the next dear Lord Jesus. All authority, power and praise belongs to You Jesus, now and forever. Amen
