Romans 11:22 NKJV
“Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.”
INSIGHT
–God’s mercy and justice are both displayed the mercy in grafting in believers, the justice in cutting off unbelief. Continuing in God’s kindness through faith and obedience is central otherwise eternal condemnation looms. We are called to remain steadfast in faith in Christ and His goodness, as we have access to the covenant community and we are required to live right with God.
PRAYER
Abba Father have mercy on us Your children. Have mercy on us dear Lord Jesus, according to Your lovingkindness and according to the multitude of Your tender mercies. May You blot out our transgressions and cover us with Your precious blood. Your counsel Lord stands forever and the plans of Your heart endures to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people You have chosen as Your own inheritance. May You help us to reach out to the needy and those who need us most and exhibit Your love. May You enable our lives that make us living testimonies of Your goodness Oh Lord. Make us instruments of peace, love and unity and help us to always do Your will. Amen
