Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

INSIGHT

–We live in a world full of challenges and difficulties. Amidst these troubles we are called to be steadfast in faith and should not be dominated by worry. The consequences of anxiety are stress, depression, diseases and ultimately suicide or death. We are reminded that; when we surrender our challenges to God through prayer, He will deliver us and grant us His sure peace.

PRAYER

Precious Jesus You are Good and Your love endures forever. Thank You for Your love for us and Your peace that You give us and not as the world gives so that You give us comfort from fear and trouble. May Your peace that surpasses all human understanding guard our hearts and minds in You Christ Jesus. May You rescue us dear Lord Jesus from all our anxiety, troubles, tribulations and challenges that we go through. May You have mercy on us grant us rest. May You deliver us dear Lord Jesus in all the spheres of life including our physical, emotional, psychological, financial and economic perspectives. May You release Your blessings upon us and grant us the grace and strength to persevere and to trudge on in life so that we may finish our course and accomplish our purpose. May You grant all those who are bereaved peace and comfort, and heal all those who are sick. May You deliver all the street families from their tribulations and grant them a safer and blessed environment for them to prosper. May You hear all our prayers and respond to all our hearts desires. Amen
