THEME: GREAT EXPLOITS
John 14:12 NKJV
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.”
INSIGHT
–Jesus does exploits even before He came to earth, extending to the end of death, resurrection and ascension, and He is still working in us and through us. Jesus continues to do the work of preaching, healing, and demonstrating the Kingdom. The Lord instructs us to do greater works beyond global geographic reach, massive numbers of conversions, and operating under a finished redemption. It is through the power of the Holy Spirit that we do exploits for the glory and honor of God.
SUMMARY
The word exploit in Hebrew ‘Alilah and Emporeuomai in Greek which means a deed, action, or heroic exploit by God’s mighty acts, or man’s strong performance. Joshua and his troops moved around the city of Jericho seven times. After the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, to shout for the Lord had given them the city (Joshua 6:15-16), and they obtained victory. David served his own generation by the will of God, he fell asleep and was buried with his fathers and saw corruption (Acts 13:36). Paul performed great works by the power of God, that even handkerchiefs or aprons were brought from his body to the sick, and the diseases left them and the evil spirits went out of them (Acts 19:11–12). We are called to do greater works than these for all things are possible with God and to those who believe. We are called to be strong and to perform great exploits (Daniel 11:32), for the glory and honor of God’s name.
PRAYER
Thank You dear Lord Jesus for Your love and mercy and upon us. We appreciate You for this far that You have brought us and the far that You are taking us. We are more than conquerors through You Jesus Christ who loved us. We shall do exploits greater than You did here on on earth by the power of the Holy Spirit. We will do all things through You Christ who strengthens us. We shall indeed prosper and be of good health now and forever. May You help us in every spiritual gift and ability to help those who need us most including the street families, and those who are sick and suffering, for the glory and honor of Uour name. We shall indeed do all things through You Christ who strengthens us. May You provide for all our needs according to the riches in glory in Christ Jesus. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forevermore. Amen
