Psalms 90:17 NKJV

–This scripture emphasizes on the need to plead for God’s favor to bless the work of our hands in ways far beyond what we can imagine. A call to seek God and cause the work of our hands to bear fruit for His glory, for others good. It is a prayer for God’s favor and empowerment as we go about our daily work and duties. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us that we should commit the work of our hands to God and our thoughts will be established.
PRAYER
Dear Lord Jesus, You are God and none can be compared to You. You are the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. We pray that You establish the work of our hands. May You forgive us all our iniquities and wash us with Your precious blood. May You strengthen our hands and bless the work of our hands. May You Lord God Almighty grant us the grace, power, boldness to do Your will and the purposes for which You have called us. Many are the plans in our hearts, but it is Your purposes that prevail. We pray this believing and trusting in Jesus mighty name. Amen

You have also given us the authority not only as priests but as kings to rule on earth, may Your establish us in Your kingdom mandate and for the glory and honor of Your name. May You elevate us from glory to glory and make a way for us to prosper in every area and sphere of our lives. We desire to draw near to Lord a Jesus as You draw near us. Ephesians 2:19-22 NKJV
“Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”
INSIGHT
–Apostle Paul reminds Ephesians, Gentile believers they are no longer outsiders but fully included in God’s family. The church is pictured as a building, with Christ as the cornerstone who the builders rejected holds everything together. Every believer is a stone in this spiritual temple, united for the purpose of being a dwelling place for God through the Spirit. Each believer is then the temple of the Holy Spirit who lives in us (1 Corinthians 6:19). We are then established in the Holy Spirit and should be in constant fellowship with Him.
SUMMARY
Establish in Greek is written a stērizō and Hebrew is qum which means to fix, strengthen, set firmly, to lay a foundation or ground, to arise, stand, establish and confirm. Divine is related to God and the attributes of God. First divine establishment is the God’s concept of blessing the work of our hands, in our work, businesses and everything that pertains to it (Psalms 90:17). Secondly, God established His covenant with David and his descendants in building a house in His name and establish the throne of his kingdom forever (2 Samuel 7:12-13). God has established us as His children through the Davidic covenant building believers as kings and priests to Him. Thirdly, God establishes the righteous and protects us from oppression, fear and terror (Isaiah 54:14). Finally, God establishes those who receive Christ in faith, that we should walk with Him and abound in thanksgiving (Colossians 2:6-7).
