2 Chronicles 1:11-12 Then God said to Solomon: “Because this was in your heart, and you have not asked riches or wealth or honor or the life of your enemies, nor have you asked long life—but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself, that you may judge My people over whom I have made you king— wisdom and knowledge are granted to you; and I will give you riches and wealth and honor, such as none of the kings have had who were before
you, nor shall any after you have the like.”

INSIGHT -In Hebrew wealth is written as O’-sher & means affluence, abundance, opulence, estate -King Solomon was asked by God what he wanted from Him. He chose wisdom & was given the most wisdom, knowledge, riches, wealth & honor. -In James 4:3, You ask & do not receive because you ask amiss that you may spend it on your pleasures.

PRAYER: Abba Father, I humbly come to You today asking for the gift of wisdom. Lead me in my purpose so that I may be wise to accomplish it fully before my death. Create in me a clean heart oh Lord, so that I may not ask amiss but seek Your direction. Give me Your fear, which is the beginning of wisdom. Amen

Proverbs 23:4-5 Do not overwork to be rich; Because of your own understanding, cease! Will you set your eyes on that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; They fly away like an eagle toward heaven.

INSIGHT -King Solomon shares some wisdom saying that those who overwork without seeking God’s hand should stop as they will loose their wealth in due time. -In Prov 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

PRAYER: God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Spirit. All things come from You. I acknowledge You in all my ways Father, direct my paths. Place Your treasures in my heart & expose my giftings for Your greater glory. Blessing my family for many generations to come. Amen

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

INSIGHT -Apostle Paul writes that because of love for money people have lost Faith (cannot please God) & go through many problems. -In Mat 6:24, Noone can serve two masters. You can either serve God or mammon (spirit of wealth). In Exodus 20:3, You shall not have any other gods before me. In Mat 4:8-10, satan tempted Jesus that he would give Him all kingdoms of the world and their glory but Jesus condemned him by saying you shall worship God alone. -We should love God & seek Him first, as money has brought a lot of social crimes including murder, adultery, coverousness, stealing, corruption etc

PRAYER: Jehovah Jireh, You are the only one true God. I love You with all my heart & place You first in everything. Cleanse me from all sins. Search my heart & remove all the barriers to our relationship including the love of mammon. You are my provider, hope & shield. Provide for all my needs; Lord now & forever. Amen

Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

INSIGHT -Jesus taught His disciples saying give & it will given to you in the same measure. -In Malachi 3:10, says bring your tithes into My store house, I will open for you the windows of heaven & pour My blessing that there will be no room to receive it. -Giving to God and the needy is a sacrifice which unlocks windows of heaven for one to access wealth. -John D. Rockefeller founder of Rockefeller foundation said “God gave me money”, “gain all you can, save all you can, give all you can”. He was the richest person of his time & his foundation ranks no. 3 in the world at present.

PRAYER Lord my Father, bestore in me the heart to give. Show me to be generous & I will abound by it. Let us access the blessings from heaven to the tenth generation. Amen

Matthew 19:21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”

INSIGHT -Jesus reminds the rich young man to unplug from the love of money & give to the needy so that he could inherit the kingdom of God. -Wealth comes through wisdom, giving tithe & to the needy, following the Word of God & God’s will. Love of wealth could also be a form of idol worship.

PRAYER: Jesus Christ, thank You for making me perfect by dying for my sins. Have mercy on me & cleanse me so that I may inherit Your kingdom. Guide me in Your word so that I can store up my treasures in heaven where it doesn’t fail & thiefs cannot steal or destroy. Bless the work of my hands so that I may never borrow but lend to many nations. This I pray believing & trusting in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
