Leviticus‬ ‭26:3-4‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

“If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.”

-Season in Hebrew is written as moed which means appointed time. There are four seasons in a year namely; summer, spring, winter & autumn.
-The above scripture; like Ezekiel‬ ‭34:26‬ remind us that there is a time & season for every purpose under heaven, a season to plant & a season to harvest. Barrenness of land was common in Israel & God made a promise to give them rain in due season if they exercised His statutes. There are two main rainy seasons in Israel; one during Autumn that is; in November & December when rain falls in heavy showers then during Spring in March when rain comes on in precarious quantities & duration. After these rains; Summer comes & the plants bear fruit like vines, olives, pomegranates, figs, wheat, barley etc for men & grass for the beasts. In Matthew 21:19, Jesus cursed a fig tree which in His omniscience nature expected to have fruit & most probably this was during summer. The tree died up immediately & He taught about faith insinuating that we should have faith in all seasons winter, summer, spring & autumn, seasons of drought & those with abundance. ‬Many are the plans in our hearts, probably their season is yet to come, God calls us to walk in His statutes & have faith in Him, & in the right season, our prayers will bear fruit. ‬‬‬‬
‭‭ ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬
We thank You Father for You have enabled us to see this new day in good health, we give You all the glory & praise. We have veered away from Your statutes Lord & fallen short of Your glory, please forgive us & cleanse us by Your blood. We humbly pray Lord that You may cause showers to come down upon us in their season & they will be showers of blessings. Help us to persevere in prayer Lord having faith that You will answer all our prayers in due season. Amen

‭Psalms‬ ‭1:1-3‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.”

-The Psalmist writes this psalm first; as a preface to the rest, that the man who is focused on the law of the Lord & meditates on it day & night abounds in blessings i.e. the word blessed is in present continuous tense. He avoids all ungodliness, sinfulness & scornful environments & seeks the law of the Lord which yields Gods’ grace. He is likened to a tree which is planted in the river of water for he dwells in the word of God & the sun does not strike him by day nor the moon by night (Psa 121:6). At the appointed time; fruit becomes evident in his life & prospers in all things.

Plant us in Your word Lord so that we may delight in it & meditate on it day & night. We are eager to know You more Jesus, direct us in Your counsel & path of righteousness. Help us to bear fruit in the right season & prosper us in all we do Father. You are the Alpha & Omega, the Beginning & the End, the First & the Last Lord. You fore-knew us before the foundations of the world & know our destinies Jehovah, direct us according to Your purpose Abba Father so that no hindrance may come our way. We place all our trust in You Jesus, be glorified now & forever. Amen

Galatians‬ ‭6:9-10‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.”

-Perseverance in doing acts of generosity while sowing seed is encouraged for we don’t harvest instantly; but in due season. Doing good to all according to the will of God is fundamental & especially to the household of faith ie. those who believe in God. When these acts of mercy are discharged upon them, their spiritual strength is renewed & they most likely proclamation Gods’ goodness upon their lives. These acts of faith & works result in fruit both here on earth & in eternity as Jesus says in Mat 25:31-46; that those who feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, visit the prisoners, give a place of rest to strangers & visit the sick; will inherit His Kingdom & vise versa; as He wills.
You are full of justice loving Father, have mercy on us & give us generous hearts. You have shown us Your goodness & mercy Lord, help us to act justly, to love mercy & walk humbly with You Lord. Provide for all those who lack food, heal all the sick, deliver all the prisoners, give shelter to the homeless & empower us to exercise faith through sacrificial deeds to the needy according to Your will merciful Father. All these things are for Your glory Lord. Amen

‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭4:2-4‬ ‭‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

“Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.”

-As many as are called to spread the gospel of Christ; which is aimed at bringing us all to the unity of the faith & of the knowledge of God are reminded to be ready in all seasons, exercise patience & be careful to instruct in truth, for they shall be known by their fruit (Mat 7:20‬). Gods’ word reveals His perfect will for us through correction, rebuke & encouragement, & it is therefore not prudent to dilute the truth to suit the desires of the listeners. A time has come when many people do not delight in sound doctrine but choose teachers, churches & meetings which offer myths & have deliberately refused to walk in the light of the Lord. We have been called to speak & feed on the truth revealed through the word of God regardless of the times & seasons so that we may grow in all things into Him who is the Head, Jesus Christ.

There is no one holy but You Lord, there is no other Rock but You Jesus. We thank You Lord for Your word, we thank You Jesus for Your cross that yielded our salvation. Receive all the honor & praise. You are the Way, the Truth & the Life Jesus, guide us in truth according to Your word everyday Lord & lead us to meetings, groups, churches & congregations that only reveal Your truth. Holy Spirit our Helper; speak to us & reveal the gospel of Christ so that false prophecy may not confuse us at any point in our lives. Be with all students Lord; especially those who are preparing for their exams so that they may emerge victorious. Comfort all those have lost their loved ones Lord & grant them peace. Our lives belong to You Jesus, shepherd us in the way we should go. Amen

Acts‬ ‭14:17‬‬‬‬‬

“Nevertheless He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good, gave us rain from heaven and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.”‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

-Apostle Paul & Barnabas were preaching in Lystra, a place where most of the people worshiped foreign gods. Paul described the goodness of Jesus witnessed through provision of rain from heaven yielding food for man & animals in its season, spiritual food through His word & fullness of joy in our hearts. The Holy Spirit also fills our hearts with spiritual food through the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility & self control so that we may remain in the will of the Father & receive strength in all things. Paul also reminds us that God works in us & through us, & we are called to point others to Jesus our Savior.

-God created the moon to mark the seasons & the sun knows when to go down (Psa‬ ‭104:19). God also created four seasons; winter, summer, spring & autumn which constantly alternate every year & are designed for every purpose under heaven. Some seasons are associated with sowing while others with reaping. Gods’ creation is perfect & from the beginning; He created us to be fruitful, to multiply & fill the earth, & He will most definitely accomplish His purpose in all creation. Further, each one of us has been created differently with unique gifts & abilities which require exploitation. In our different abilities & according to the season; some of us sow while others reap & one cannot accurately compare their lives with that of others. We are only encouraged to sow in the right season for sluggards do not plow & at harvest time they look but find nothing (Prov‬ ‭20:4‬). In our Christian lives, faith in Christ is the foundation & the avenue to eternal life. As the true Vine; Christ is interested in our fruitfulness as those branches in Him that do not bear fruit are cut off & those that bear fruit He prunes so that they may bear more fruit (John 15:2). When we commit all things to the the true Vine, He enables us to bear much fruit & establishes our steps for without Him we can do nothing. God also tells us that we should persevere in prayer, righteousness, faith, good works & to never loose hope for at His own time, He will make everything perfect.‬‬‬‬

Many are the plans in our hearts Lord but You ordain our steps, receive all our thanksgiving & praise. We commit all things to You Jesus, fight for us, our families & nation for the battle belongs to You. You have promised to give us rain so that we may bear fruit in its season; we trust in You faithful Father & thank You for making all things perfect at Your own time. Comfort, strengthen, encourage & establish us Father in Your grace. All creation rightfully gives You thanks Lord, be exulted forever more. Amen
