John 6:54-56
Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
INSIGHT
-Jesus says that whoever eats His body (bread) & drinks His blood (wine) abides in Him & Christ in him i.e Holy communion.
-In 1 Cor 11:24-25, during the last supper Jesus gave His disciples bread & wine then said do this in remembrance of Me.
PRAYER
Lord our Father, lead us to abide in You & abide with us. By Your body & blood we receive everlasting life. May we journey with You in the same body & in the new covenant of Your blood to give us faith, hope & love. Amen
