THEME: KINGDOM OF GOD

Romans 14:17 NKJV

“for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”

INSIGHT

–There is a thin line between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of heaven since both are governed by God’s principals. While the kingdom of heaven is indeed in heaven, the kingdom of God is on earth. The kingdom of God is more often associated with an inward and spiritual alignment guided by the Holy Spirit rather than an external outlook given to food and drinks. God calls us to focus on having the right standing with Him, seeking inner peace and living peaceably with others, and upholding joyful and meaningful engagements guided by the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus You are awesome in wonder, You are kind and loving, we worship You. Lord You reign, let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad. Dear Father, righteousness and justice are the foundations of Your throne, You reign on high. Precious Holy Spirit may You fill us afresh with Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control. May You heal all those who are sick and suffering and deliver all those who contemplating suicide. May Your love abide in us to always do Your will and keep Your statutes, that our joy may be full. You are the Vine dear Jesus and we are the branches, we abide in You, may You help us to bear much fruit. May You guide us throughout the week and help us to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, and all other things You will add unto us. Amen
