Revelation of the Word:
Revelation of the Word 14/03/2025 Admin
THEME: LEADERSHIP – MODEL OF JESUS
Galatians 6:2 NKJV
“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
INSIGHT
–Jesus did not come to destroy the law or the prophets but to fulfill them (Matthew 5:17). Jesus gave us the law of love, and calls us to love God with all our hearts, minds and soul, and our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40). God’s call to love others is audacious, for we are reminded to put the interests of others ahead of ourselves and to love our enemies as well (Matthew 5:43).
SUMMARY
Jesus is the perfect example of a true leader and reveals the traits of effective governance. Jesus was a servant leader and exhibited authentic humility. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth to murmur and complain but He found grace to finish His course (Isaiah 53:7-9). He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to death even death on a cross (Philippians 2:8). Jesus loves us so much and it is because of love that He died for our sins so that we may live and live forever. Jesus is the Prince of peace and He has given us peace, not like the world gives that we may find rest in Him (John 14:27). All leaders are called to advocate for peace and peaceful relationships all the time. Jesus often went to a solitary place to prayed (Mark 1:35). We are reminded or pray always in all situations while giving thanks. Jesus instituted the church through the revelation of Peter the rock that He Christ, Son of the living God. Jesus has given us victory and the gates of hades shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:17-19). We should not be afraid not loose heart for the Lord we have the name of Jesus which is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe.
PRAYER
Your name Lord Jesus is a strong tower, we run to You and we are safe. We rest secure in You alone dear Jesus. We hide under Your pinions Lord and find strength and peace. May You impart in us Your leadership traits that we may make a difference in our families, communities, nation and nations of the world for the glory and honor of Your name. May You forgive us all our iniquities and wash us with Your precious blood. Lord may You do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask of or think of according to the power that is at work in us. Lord we trust in You and exalt You. We believe that You are able to do more than we can think of or imagine. We believe that we shall be extremely fruitful since we abide in You and You in us. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in Your house forever. May You bless us and keep us loving Father, may You shine Your face upon us and be gracious to us. May You lift up Your countenance towards us and give us peace. Amen
Blessed Weekend
