HOPE

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

INSIGHT -Jeremiah writes that the Lord has good thoughts for us. -Thoughts of peace & not evil, to give us a future & hope. -The Lord always thinks of good things for us even though sometimes we loose hope, patience & feel discouraged  in life. But He assures us of a peaceful & prosperous future full of hope.

PRAYER: Lord my Father, thank You for the gift of life & breath. I belive life in itself is a promise for a hopeful & prosperous future. Be with me in all my anxiety, despair, hopelessness, sickness & every other challenging situation I face today. I give You praise & honor in all situations because You love & care for me my Father. Amen.

Psalm 121:7-8 The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.

INSIGHT -The Lord gives us hope of protection in every way. -The Lord assures us protection from all evil & preserve us from death(soul). In Job 2:6 the Lord told the devil that Job was in His hands , so the serpent should spare his life/soul. -The Lord will protect & provide for us everyday, night & forever.

PRAYER: Abba Father, thank You for protecting & providing for my every need. Protect me from the evil one who comes to kill, steal & destroy. Cover me with Your pinions in my going out, coming in & forever more. I hope & trust in You Father; with my whole life. Amen.

Romans 5:3-5 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

INSIGHT -Paul the apostle writes that tribulations yields perserverance, perserverance character & character hope. -Also, hope in Christ doesn’t fail as the love of God has been poured into our heart’s by the Holy Spirit who was given to us after Christ assended. -When we go through challenges in life, we should pray to God in Faith, hoping that the Lord will renew our strength taking away all our fears, anxieties, tribulations, weaknesses & difficulties.

PRAYER: Holy Spirit, come into my heart to fill me with love. Help me in all my tribulations, distress, anxieties & hopelessness; to perserve in the character of Jesus Christ in whom I am likened. Strengthen my hope in You Father in this life I live on earth as I store up all good things for eternity. Amen.

Titus 2:13-14 ‘looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.’

INSIGHT -Titus a disciple of Jesus among the 72 writes that Christ gave Himself for us for the redemption of our sins & weaknesses so that we may be made pure just like Him. -Also we hope for the glorious appearance of Jesus Christ at the end of time to be with Him as we emulate His good works on earth.

PRAYER: Thank you Jesus my Lord & Savior because You died for my sins & weaknesses. Thank You for Your tender mercies & loving kindness upon my life. Forgive me all my iniquities. As i seek You faithfully in hope that one day I will inherit the kingdom of God, give me patience. Fill my heart with Your love & hope in my Christian life that I may seek you unceasingly. Amen.

1 Peter 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you,

INSIGHT -Peter writes that through God’s mercy who sacrificed His only begotten son & resurrected to give us hope for a heavenly inheritance. -An inheritance which is incorruptible & cannot be influenced by any principalities as through the death & resurrection we are free from sin, condemnation & death. -Through the name of Jesus we are free from sin through his tender mercies.

PRAYER: Blessed are You God my Father who is full of mercy & love. Thank You for Your precious gift of a son who died for my sins & weaknesses so that I can be free indeed. I put my hope & trust in You; Lord forever more. Amen.
