THEME: LORD HOLD MY HAND

Nehemiah 2:17-18 NKJV

Then I said to them, “You see the distress that we are in, how Jerusalem lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire. Come and let us build the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a reproach.” And I told them of the hand of my God which had been good upon me, and also of the king’s words that he had spoken to me. So they said, “Let us rise up and build.” Then they set their hands to this good work.”

INSIGHT

Nehemiah the governor of Jerusalem and found it fit through personal conviction to rebuild the ruined walls of Jerusalem. When Nehemiah requested King Artaxerxes of Persia to go and rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, he found favor before him and the hand of the Lord was good upon him. As we begin this new month may the hand of the Lord be good upon us and grant us the grace to rise up and build.

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus I come boldly to Your throne of grace, that I may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need, may You help me. Thank You for this new month, dear Lord and Savior. May You hold my hand dear Lord Jesus and do good upon me. May You give me the grace the to rise up and build this new month and make progressive steps towards the purpose and vision that You have given unto me. May Your grace and favor abound in me and grant me the gift of salvation. None can be likened to You dear Lord Jesus, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
