THEME: CHRIST IN ME
“To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
-Having the knowledge that the Holy Spirit Who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us, we have confidence that the Holy Spirit will raise our mortal bodies too. Christ is our hope of glory for we a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9).
Sometimes we may feel alone, disillusioned and disappointed but the Bible reminds us that we are not alone but Christ dwells in us. Faith in Jesus activates His indwelling in our hearts. We have been crucified with Christ and it is not us who live but Christ Who lives is us. The life that we live now is by faith in Jesus who gave Himself for us so that we may become the righteousness of God through grace. We should then crucify the works of the flesh and realize that the Holy Spirit lives in us. We also know that faith without works is dead. We must examine ourselves and test our faith so that we may not fail. Jesus prayed for Simon that his faith may not fail and implored him to strengthen his brothers with that same faith. We are also called to encourage ourselves and encourage others in the Lord as we put our trust in Him. The Lord has promised to strengthen us, to help us and uphold us with His righteous hand, and we should not be afraid for when we are weak then we are strong for He dwells in us. His grace is sufficient for us and His strength made perfect in our weakness. Christ is the Vine and we are His branches. He calls us to abide in Him as He is in us so that we may bear much fruit.
Lord You are our Strength, our Song, and our Salvation; we praise You and exalt Your holy name. Thank You Holy Spirit for choosing us and dwelling in us. You are the Vine and we are Your branches Jesus, help us to abide in You as You are in us; so that we may bear much fruit according to Your divine purposes. Strengthen us when we are weak and help us to realize that we can do all things through You Christ Who strengthens us. You are our Helper, our all in all, we put all our trust in You. May Your glorious riches strengthen and empower our inner beings through faith. Fill our hearts with Your grace we humbly implore You Lord, and rooted us and establish us in Your love. May You peace that surpasses all understanding dwell in our hearts, minds, families, communities, nation and the entire world, through You Christ our Lord. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Be with us now, and forevermore. Amen
