THEME: MOUNT HOREB

Malachi 4:4 NKJV

“Remember the Law of Moses, My servant, Which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel, With the statutes and judgments.”

INSIGHT

–Mount Horeb and Sinai are used interchangeably in the scriptures. Both can be traced in the same location, potentially representing different traditional, theological or regional names. Mount Sinai represents the region or wilderness (Exodus 19:1) while Horeb implies a mountain. Deuteronomy 5:2 says that, the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel at mount Horeb. The Lord calls us to follow His will and statutes as a display of love (John 14:15).

PRAYER

We praise You Lord. We praise Your holy name Oh Lord. We bless Your name from this time forth and forevermore. From the rising of the sun to its going down Your name Oh Lord is to be praised. Lord You are raised high above all nations, Your glory is above the heavens. Who is like You Lord our God, Who dwells on high. May You grant us the grace Lord to keep Your commandments and do Your will. Where we have gone astray forgive us and cleanse us with Your precious blood. May You teach us to listen to Your counsel, to receive instructions that we may be wise in our latter days. May You answer all our prayers and respond to our hearts desires. Amen
