THEME: PEACE OF CHRIST

Philippians 4:6-7 NKJV

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

INSIGHT

–There are diverse obstacles that come our way but God gives us the grace to overcome them through prayer. Having the peace of Christ does not mean the absence of worry, but a divine calmness that comes through trusting in Him. The peace of Christ acts like a garrison, protecting our inner self from being overcome by anxiety and fear. God calls us to trust in Him unconditionally and His peace will always be found in our hearts and minds despite the adverse situations that come our way.

PRAYER

Almighty God, we give You thanks and praise for Your abundant mercy and grace. Thank You for the authority that You have given us as Your children to command things to being and to trample over every snake and scorpion. We declare that no weapon fashioned against us shall prevail and no tongue raised against us shall prosper in You Christ Jesus. Dear Lord Jesus, we humbly ask that You to give us Your sufficient peace to guards our hearts and minds in You Christ Jesus. May You remove everything that is causing us stress and sorrow in our lives and families. May Your peace reign in our lives, our families, communities, work and nation. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forever more. Amen
