THEME: VALUE OF THANKGIVING

Colossians 2:6-7 NKJV

“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.”

INSIGHT

–Every believer is mandated to walk in faith as pilgrims towards the cross of Christ, and in union with Him. This requires being firmly rooted and continually built up in Christ, which involves a life of dependence on God’s grace for daily living and a foundation of established faith. The ultimate outcome of our focus on Christ is a continuous overflow in gratitude and thanksgiving to God.

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus You are the Author and Finisher of our faith, we thank You and give You praise. We exult You Lord and honor You for You are Holy. Holy, Holy, Holy are You Lord God Almighty, who was, who is and who is to come. Thank You for You have redeemed us with Your precious blood out of every tribe, tongue, people and nation. Thank You for saving us, it is not by the law but by faith through grace, lest any one should boast, but it is a gift from You Lord. May You release Your true salvation unto all people by Your mercy including our family members, states-men and women, and every nation. May You do a new thing for us, for the glory and honor of Your name. All glory, honor, power and praise belongs to You, now and forever. Amen
