THEME: VALUE OF THANKGIVING

Psalms 95:1-6 NKJV

“Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods. In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also. The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.”

INSIGHT

–Singing to God in worship, thanksgiving and praise reflects our gratitude and serenity in God’s presence. We then find rest in God, our Rock and Salvation, synoynmous to His great faithfulness, and He is our secure foundation and deliverer.

PRAYER

O Lord our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth. Who have set Your glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, because of Your enemies, that You may silence the enemy and the avenger. O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the heavens and the earth. We thank You for Your goodness and mercies that are new each morning, and Your love endures to all generations. May You provide for all our needs and open doors of grace for us to progress and prosper. May You bless us, our families, businesses, churches and nation, and prosper all our ways. May You vindicate all the persecuted Christians in Nigeria and all other countries and save them from oppression. May You provide peace to all the war-torn countries and grant them rest. We pray this believing and trusting in Jesus mighty name. Amen
