Ephesians 5:14 NKJV

“Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”

INSIGHT

-Apostle Paul encourages believers to arise from the dead by turning away from sin and moral decay. Those who experience spiritual sleep translating to laziness, ignorance and indifference. We are called to live as children of light, not to be partakers in the darkness of sin but to be awakened by the promise of illumination in Christ which increases us in knowledge, righteousness, and eternal life.  

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus You are our Good Shepherd and our Guide. We look to You for strength and favor. May You fan the flame of prayer, reading Your word and fellowship and help us to be committed to our course. May You forgive us all our sins and iniquities, and cleanse us with Your precious blood. May You deliver all those who are addicted to gambling, alcoholism, drugs, sexual immorality, and other evils and set us free completely merciful Savior. May You deliver all the youth dear Lord Jesus. We are Your sheep, may You help us and teach us to be spiritually awakened. May Your light dear Jesus Christ shine into our souls, quicken and directs us in every way. May Your word always be a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. We honor You dear Lord Jesus and exalt Your name, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
