THEME: PROMISES OF GOD

2 Peter 1:3-4 NKJV

“as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”

INSIGHT

–These scriptures explain the value of the glory and virtue of God that calls us partake of God’s divine nature crafted in His image and likeness. God gave us exceedingly great and precious promises, based upon His grace, and therefore perfectly reliable because God can never compromise His glory and virtue. These promises were released before the foundations of the world for each one of us to partake in them and glorify the Father.

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus You are the Light of the world, and darkness cannot comprehend it. You are Good and Your mercies endures forever. May You drive out all forms of darkness from our thoughts and hearts. May You deliver us from all evil and keep us safe from harm. May You wash us with Your precious blood. Your word is true and Your will is perfect. Your words Lord are pure, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purifies seven times. Your words are perfect and Your covenant is true. You are not a man that You should lie or a son for man that You should repent for whatever You declare comes to pass. May whatever You have intended in our lives and families before the foundation of the world come to pass in Jesus name. Amen
