THEME: FEAR OF THE LORD

Psalms 112:1-4 NKJV

“Praise the Lord! Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, Who delights greatly in His commandments. His descendants will be mighty on earth; The generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever. Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.”

INSIGHT

–The fear of the Lord does not mean fright or terror, but reverence, awe, and obedience to God. A blessed person does not just obey reluctantly but delights in God’s commandments. True godliness flows not from duty alone, but from joy in God’s will. Godly living produces generational blessing, wealth and riches, guidance through the light of God and other spiritual and moral influences, which continues through our children

PRAYER

Lord You are our God and there is no other but You. You are the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last. We give You praise and adoration. We humbly come at Your feet precious Redeemer asking for mercy. May You forgive for every sin and iniquity that we have committed knowingly and unknowingly. Lord You are our God and You are faithful to keep Your covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love You and keep Your commandments. May You grant us the grace to keep Your commandments and to always do Your will. May You bless us in every way and move us from glory to glory. We honor You Lord and give You praise, and it is in Jesus name we pray. Amen
