THEME: LEADERSHIP – MODEL OF JESUS

John 14:27 NKJV

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

INSIGHT

–Jesus is our Prince of peace and offers unique and lasting kind of peace, different from the world’s, calming our fears and worries. Our God of peace grants us the peace of God that surpasses all human understanding, and these are mutually exclusive. His peace and the increase of His government have no end (Isaiah 9:6-7), through His eternal covenant. Jesus reconciles humanity with God the Father and with each other, bringing an end to conflict and hostility among families, communities and nations. Jesus brings forth spiritual wholeness and harmony, both within individuals and in their relationships. As the Prince, Jesus has all the authority, power and leads all His followers in the ways of peace and tranquility. Therefore we are called as leaders to emulate Christ in propagating peace in our homes, communities, nations and areas of influence, following the perfect example of our God of peace.

PRAYER

Jesus You are our Prince of peace, You keep us in perfect peace for our minds are steadfast and trust in You. Oh Lord Jesus we seek Your unchanging peace always for all our hope and trust is in You. Thank You for the peace that we continue to enjoy in our nation. We appreciate Your peace that You have gives us with our neigbouring countries and within our boarders. We pray for Your divine help and enduring peace before You our God of peace. We cast our burdens and cares unto You for You care for us. May Your peace continually reign in our hearts and minds in You Christ Jesus. May You dear Lord Jesus reconcile all broken relationships for Your glory, and forgive us our iniquities. May You answer our prayers and grant us our hearts desires, our God of peace. May You continue to provide for all our needs and release every pending payments unto us dear Jesus and expand our businesses. May You grant us the grace and favor to take on the leadership positions that You have released unto us. Our God of hope may You fill us with all joy and peace as we trust in You, so that we may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forevermore. Amen
