THEME: WEAPONS OF WAR

Revelation 12:11

“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

INSIGHT

-We are more than over-comers, we who are in Christ Jesus. Christ is our faithful witness, the first born from the dead, and ruler of the kings of the earth, loves us and set us free from our sin by His precious blood (Revelation 1:5). Therefore, there is great power in His blood and in His name. Through this power we overcome the wicked strategies of the devil formed against us. The same power of Christ will bring to an end the reign of the devil and his agents. We are called to pray as we proclaiming the blood of Jesus Christ upon our live, families and every other thing for protecting and sanctification, and the name of Jesus over every situation, for we have victory in Christ.

SUMMARY

The Iron Dome is part of a multi-tiered missile defense system that Israel has continually developed. It is aimed at protecting the country and its people from threats. From its launch in the year 2011, the iron dome has intercepted more missiles than any other known device. It is thus considered the most reliable invention against missile attacks the world has ever seen. It is designed to operate both during the day and night, under adverse weather conditions, and can respond to multiple threats simultaneously. It has three main functions:- to detect and exterminate missiles, battle management and weapon control, and has a missile firing system. Unlike the iron dome which is a physical arsenal of war, human beings battle spiritual wars which require spiritual ammunition. 2 Corinthians 2:11 enlightens us, that we should not be unaware of the schemes of the devil that he may not outwit us. When one is going for war, they need to know who their enemy is and what kind of ammunition is in their possession. When we know of the schemes of the enemy, we can better apply the spiritual weapons of war against any attach that may be fashioned against us. The devils plan is basically to kill, steal and destroy. Galatians‬ ‭4:3-5‬ ‭tells us that, “when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces of the world. But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.” To fight spiritual wars effectively, we need to arm ourselves with spiritual weapons, provided to us by God. Like the iron dome which is able to detect and capture missiles midair without human intervention, God protects us and shields us often times that we know of. Sometimes we are deep asleep and God sends His angels to protect us. Other times we are protected against diseases, accidents, death and other forms of attack. The Bible says that, the just shall live by faith (Hebrews 10:38). It is through faith in Christ that we are justified, not by law. It is by faith through grace that we have been saved not by our own works. Weapons of war are spiritual armaments that have been provided to us believers on account of the finished work of Christ. First, we need to have strong and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, our Salvation and Shield. Second, it is paramount to always give thanks to God and worship Him in all situations. When we worship the Lord, He fights our battles. Prayer and fasting is another powerful arsenal of war that many ignore. It is a way to break every spiritual chain and bring forth freedom from all forms of oppression. Jesus fasted and prayed often and He won all the battles for Himself and for us. Fourth, is the word of God which is living and powerful. It is sharper than a two edged sword, that separates the soul and spirit, joints and marrow to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. The word of God fills us with God’s wisdom and cleanses our evil hearts clean. Last but not least, is the blood and name of Jesus Christ. These are powerful weapons that will bring the devil and his agents down, and they will be thrown into the lake of fire. We are therefore called to take dominion of the earth, as kings and priests to God, and dwell in peace and prosperity in Christ Jesus. 

PRAYER

Lord You are good and Your mercies endures forever. How awesome are Your works loving Jesus. Through the greatness of Your power, Your enemies submit themselves to You. All the earth shall worship You and sing praises to You loving Savior. They shall sing praises to Your name. Your name is powerful Jesus, we proclaim healing upon all those who are sick, deliverance upon every captive, restoration upon everything that is lost, and abundant blessings and salvation unto us and our generations. May sickness, lack, struggle, depression, premature death be our distant enemy in You name Jesus. May we always live under an open heaven. Acquaint us dear Jesus with our heritage, destiny, mission, vision, assignment, relationships, resources, timing and strategies, and grant us success. Bring us up to speed with our mission and purpose here on earth for the glory and honor of Your name. May favor, affluence, influence, divinity, friendships, companionships, associations, partnerships and support be our constant companions. May our lives reflect Your glory and divinity Lord. May we have constant favor before You Lord and before men and women. Give us successful negation skills dear Jesus. May we will live a legacy here on earth for the glory and honor of Your name Lord. Bless the work of our hands dear Jesus and increase us. We will have much more to give for kingdom work and progression. Deliver us from unforgiveness, bitterness and hatred, and forgive our trespasses too. Cover us with Your precious blood Jesus and protect us from all evil snares. Help us to love You Lord and our neighbors as ourselves. May our bless come upon us and overtake us. Release divine angelic escorts to lead us to God’s promises and the promised land. May the light of Your word Lord lead us into Your purposes Lord. May Your joy, love and peace overwhelm our souls Holy Spirit. May our homes be a heaven of peace, and we will lack no good thing. May Your peace dear Jesus be felt all over the world. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace. Amen
