THEME: THE ANTI-CHRIST
2 John 1:7-8
“I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully.”
-As we celebrate Easter, we are reminded that Christ came in the flesh, He was tortured, He was crucified, He died for our sins, He was buried and rose from the death on the third day in victory. He defeated the power of sin and death and has given us eternal life. Anyone then who does not share in the life of Jesus Christ has no life. Also, anyone who does not acknowledge that Jesus Christ came in the flesh is the antichrist. From the book of John 1:14, we see that, “..the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” Some of our brothers and sisters from other religions do believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh and do not acknowledge His full message of truth but choose certain aspects of His word. We are cautioned from being deceived or dissuaded from our Christian faith lest we loose our reward. It is our duty as Christians to share the gospel of Christ our Foundation; so that many may know the truth and the truth shall set them free. After Christ rose from the dead, He commissioned us to go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all things that He has commanded us; for He is with us always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:19-20).
Christ is risen, we rejoice in glory of His name. We proclaim You victory and salvation in all the earth, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Thank You Jesus for Your sacrifice on the cross for our sins. We praise You for You conquered sin and death, and we are victorious in You. We are more than conquerors in You Christ Jesus. You have defeated the power of sin and death, and have won victory for us who believe in You. Who believe in Your birth, death and resurrection. We thank You for You are good and Your mercies endures forever. Thank You for Your saving grace upon our lives. We appreciate You Jesus and acknowledge that You came in the flesh and that You are the Son of God. Many of our brothers and sisters are living under the yoke of false religions, may You remember them merciful Savior and cause them to come to the full knowledge of truth. Only You are the way, the truth and the life, and no one come to the Father except through You. Have mercy on them all and grant them the gift of salvation. You are risen from the dead Jesus, rise in our hearts and the hearts of all Your people that every tongue, tribe, people and nation may worship You alone. Only You deserve all the glory, honor, power, victory and praise Jesus. Only You are worthy Lamb of God. At Your name Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ You are Lord to the glory of God the Father. Have mercy in all the persecuted Christians all over the world. Have mercy on those who suffer gender violence, domestic violence and child abuse. Lord You are merciful and Your mercies endures forever. We praise You and exult Your holy name now and forever Jesus. Amen
