John 10:38

But if I do them, even though you do not believe me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.

-Believe in Greek is written as pisteuó and aman in Hebrew; which means to have faith in/upon, to entrust, to trust or put ones trust in God. It also means to believe that someone is saying the truth or have confidence in a report. Numerous Biblical references are evident for the word believe including but not limited to; Gen 15:6 Abram believed the Lord, and he credited it to him as righteousness, Heb 11:6 he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, Deu 1:29‭-‬33 Moses reminded the Israelites that God delivered them from slavery in Egypt yet they did not believe, Prov 14:15 the simple believe anything but the prudent give thought to their steps, Mat 21:21‭-‬22 Jesus said “If you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer”, Mk 5:35‭-‬36 Jesus said to them; “Don’t be afraid just believe”, Acts 8:36‭-‬37 ‬Philip baptized the Ethiopian eunuch and he believed that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, Rom 6:8 if we died with Christ; we believe that we shall also live with Him, 1 Cor 13:4‭-‬7 ‬love believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, John 3:16 whoever believes in Jesus Christ will not perish but have everlasting life etc.

-Many among the Jews did not believe Jesus and as He taught them, He encouraged them to believe in His divine works; so that they may know that He is in the Father and the Father in Him. Through this revelation; we believe that Jesus and the Father are one together with the Holy Spirit our Helper; in the Holy Trinity. Christ has revealed Himself to us through His word, servants, works, majesty, power, grace and is always present in us and with us, blessed are they that have not seen and yet believe (Jn 20:29).

How awesome is Your name Lord God Almighty who was, who is and who is to come. You are filled with Majesty and praise Jesus King of glory. Thank You for Your mercy and love upon our lives and enabling us see this day in perfect health. Heal all those who are sick, weak and suffering in our society and renew their strength merciful Father. Give us the grace Jesus to forgive all those who offend us and forgive us our trespasses to. Bless us indeed and enlarge our territories that Your hand would be with us, and that You would keep us from evil, that we may not lack favour. We believe and trust in You Jesus; now and forever. Amen

Blessed Week
