Deuteronomy 28:12-13
The Lord will open to you His good treasure, the heavens, to give the rain to your land in its season, and to bless all the work of your hand. You shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath, if you heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today, and are careful to observe them.
INSIGHT
-In Hebrew, head is written as rosh & it means begin, leader, commander, brain, driver, peak, topmost.
-The commandments/laws were necessary to train the Israelites & consequently us; sons of God, to do His will on earth as it is in heaven. This being part of us we live in grace as the Lord blesses us & make us heads as we begin year 2017.
PRAYER
Help us Father to live as You expect us. Cleanse us from all unrighteousness & deliver us from all evil. May we access Your good treasures, receive rain in its season, bless the work of our hands, make us heads & not tails & may lend to many nations & borrow from none. Amen
