Genesis 16:7-8
Now the Angel of the Lord found her by a spring of water in the wilderness, by the spring on the way to Shur. And He said, “Hagar, Sarai’s maid, where have you come from, and where are you going?” She said, “I am fleeing from the presence of my mistress Sarai.”
INSIGHT
-In Hebrew, angel is written as malak & it means envoy, cherub, seraph, messenger.
-Sarai dealt harshly with Hagar & she fled from her presence. The Lord heard her affliction/prayer & rescued her by the help of His angel. The angel gave her the message that she will be restored back to her family, her descendants will be blessed exceedingly & that she will bear a son; Ismail.
PRAYER
As we bring our petitions to You; Father, hear us. In all our afflictions & tribulations; help us & restore peace in our lives, families & nations. Amen
