Jeremiah 17:9-10
“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it? I, the Lord, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings.
INSIGHT
-The Lord says the heart is deceitful above everything else & He looks at ones heart, tests the mind & give according to man’s ways & doings.
-In Prov 27:19, man’s heart reveal the man. Psalm 51:10, create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
-We are called to think of pure things full of truth so that we can please God.
PRAYER
Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Search our hearts & remove everything that is not of Your Kingdom. Holy Spirit, guide our ways & deeds so that Your gifts & fruit may be a blessing to us. Amen
