THEME: POWER OF THE TONGUE
Colossians 4:6 NKJV
“Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.”
INSIGHT
–The tongue is designed to either speak good or evil. Ephesians 4:29 says that, we should not let any corrupt word proceed out of our mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. Further, 1 Peter 3:10 reminds us that we are called to refrain from speaking evil and deceit, we who love life and see good days.
PRAYER
Abba Father we thank You for You are good and Your mercies endures forever. Thank You for allowing us to see good days. Thank You Jesus for loving us and choosing us. You are great and greatly to be praised. May You grant us the grace to always speak gracefully and edify the hearers. May You forgive us where we have spoken evil and deceitful words, may You cover us with Your precious blood. We worship You and give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
