Romans 8:37 NKJV

“Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

INSIGHT

–Paul wrote these verse while he had passed through trials and troubles and he was looking ahead at the tremendous persecution ahead of him. After he wrote this letter to the Romans, he was headed to Jerusalem to deliver a financial offering to the poor. But yet, it is in Jerusalem where he was arrested. Yet he believed that he was more than a conqueror despite not seeing it. This goes to show us, that as Christians we can pass through difficulty, persecution and troubles but we should know that we are still conquerors. The Lord rescue us and helps us to triumph in every way and area of our lives and families by His grace and favor. A life governed by victorious living requires active spiritual persistence, standing firm in faith, and resisting discouragement or sin. It is the power of Christ that helps us to overcome all challenges and plans of the devil. Revelation 12:11 reveals that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, therefore we have victory in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER

How excellent is Your name dear LORD Jesus in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens. O LORD, our God, how excellent is Your name in all the earth. Thank You for the victory that You have given us dear LORD Jesus for we are more than conquerors by Your grace and power. We shall always overcome by the word of our testimonies and the blood of the Lamb. We are more than overcomers in You Christ Jesus. We can do all things through You Christ Jesus who strengthens us. We worship You and give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen
