Psalms 34:4 NKJV

“I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.”

INSIGHT

–David when he was exposed to the persecutions of Saul, and when he sought refuge in the country of Achish (1 Samuel 21:1-15). He sought the Lord, and He heard him and He delivered him. David did not confide in his own wisdom, but that sought the protection and guidance of God, alike when he fled to and from Gath. We are reminded to call to Jesus in our distress and He will answer us and free us from all our fears.

PRAYER

We praise You Dear Lord Jesus for it is good to sing praises to You alone our God. It is pleasant and praise offered to You is beautiful. Dear Lord Jesus we give You praise and honor You for Your love and kindness towards us. We call on You and ask for Your help that You deliver us from all our fears. May Your grace empower us to stand fast in the liberty by which You Jesus Christ has made us free that we are not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. May Your precious blood cover us and protect us from all snares of evil and build us up in faith while serving You according to Your divine design. All glory and honor belongs to You now and forever. Amen
