Proverbs 29:2 NIV
“When the righteous thrive, the people rejoice; when the wicked rule, the people groan.”
INSIGHT
–The righteous leader is concerned about the welfare of the people. Therein governs with integrity, justice, wisdom and truth and therefore promotes peace, fairness, accountability, and economic and social stability. The people celebrate this rulership. On the other hand, the evil ruler is selfish, corrupt, abuses power and office, and causes frustrations and hardships among the citizens. Consequently, the affected people mourn and live a miserable life.
PRAYER
Lord You are awesome in wonder, You are wonderful, You are Great and greatly to be praised. Father we thank You for Your lovingkindness and faithfulness over us and our dear nation Kenya. We repent for the many times we have sinned and not pleased You. May You set us free from oppression, corruption, poor governance, high commodity prices, murders and killings, addictions in drugs, gamblings, sexual impurity and other evil vices dear Jesus. May You forgive our leaders and sins of our nation, cleanse us by Your precious blood Lord Jesus. May You reign over Kenya and heal our land. May the righteous rule in the land during this season and in the next general elections. May Your righteousness exalt our nation Kenya and that no sin shall condemns our people. We thank You for we believe that You will show us Your mercies and Your perfect will be done upon our land Kenya even as we surrender all unto You. We pray all these in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
