THEME: COURTS OF HEAVEN

Psalms 109:1-4 NKJV

“Do not keep silent, O God of my praise! For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful Have opened against me; They have spoken against me with a lying tongue. They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, And fought against me without a cause. In return for my love they are my accusers, But I give myself to prayer.”

INSIGHT

–King David appeals to God to vindicate him and actively intervene, as the wicked intently attempted to assassinate his character and leadership. David knew that the only remedy to such accusassions is prayer. Sometimes accusers arise against us and we are called to fight in the spirit through prayer like David especially in the courts of heaven.

PRAYER

Dear Lord Jesus we seek Your face each day not keep silent we humbly beseech You. May You help us and save us according to Your mercyful love. We praise You greatly with our mouths and among the multitude. Lord You stand at our right hand in the courts of heaven to save us from those who condemn us. We declare that no weapon fashioned against us shall prosper and every tongue that is raised against us in judgement we shall condemn in Jesus name. We declare that no evil shall befall us nor shall any plague come near our dwelling. We shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent we shall trample underfoot, because we have set our love upon You, therefore You will deliver us, set us on high for we know Your name. May You have mercy us on us and vindicate us according to Your great love. Deliver us dear Lord from all trouble, satisfy us with long life and show us Your salvation. We trust in You dear Lord our Refuge and Fortress, Your promises that we continually obtain is a good testimony through faith Your name Jesus. Amen
