Revelation of the Word:

THEME: SONS OF GOD

Matthew 5:9 NKJV

“Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.”

INSIGHT

–The objective of peace is reconciling a person with another and one with God. Peacemakers more often than not reflect the nature of God, who is the author of peace, and therefore are identified with Him, who reconciled to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross (Colossians 1:20). This beatitude exhorts believers to follow the example of Jesus, the ultimate peacemaker, in bringing reconciliation to the world.

PRAYER

We praise You Lord God Almighty and sing to You among the nations. Your mercies reaches unto the heavens and Your truth unto the clouds. Be exalted O Lord God above the heavens and let Your glory be above all the earth. Thank You for the peace that You have given us in our nation. May You grant us peace in the upcoming general elections next year. We pray for peace upon the nation of Israel and all the war-torn nations. May You fill our hearts with Your grace of peace, not as the world gives but as You grant us precious Holy Spirit. May You grant us the humility and love to be able to forgive all those who have offended us even as You forgive us dear Jesus. May Your peace that surpasses all human understanding guard our hearts and minds in You Christ Jesus. We honor You Lord and give You praise, and it is in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

Blessed Thursday
