2 Chronicles 7:14 NKJV

“if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

INSIGHT

–Submission and humity towards God is an acknowledgement of dependence on Him and actively pursuing His presence. God calls us to repent our sins and on behalf of our nation and He will listen to our prayers, restore us and restore our nation.

PRAYER

Lord You are our rock and fortress. We come before You with thanksgiving honor and adoration. We humbly ask You to forgive our sins and iniquities, wash us with Your precious blood and heal our land. When our lives are spent with grief and years with sighing. Our strength fails because of our iniquity and our bones waste away. We humbly ask You to forgive us, lead us, our leaders and nation in Your merciful love for Your name’s sake and victicate us from every form of oppression. May You pull us out of the net which our adversaries have secretly laid for us, for You are our strength. Into Your hand Oh Lord, we commit our spirit, thank You for You have redeemed us, O Lord God of truth. In You O Lord, we put our trust, let us never to be ashamed. Deliver us in Your righteousness. Bow down Your ear to us, Deliver us speedily, be our rock of refuge, a fortress of defense to save us. Dear merciful Savior may Your eyes see our troubles and Your ears be attentive to our prayers. May You bless our nation and give us peace, now and forevermore. Amen
