THEME: DIVINE ESTABLISHMENT

2 Samuel 7:12-13 NKJV

“When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.”

INSIGHT

-The passage highlights the foundational Davidic covenant, which promises a lineage of kings for he desired to build a temple for God, and, ultimately, points to the Messiah. God’s promises often have both near and far fulfillments, immediate (Solomon) and eternal (Jesus). Leaders and believers should therefore trust that God builds through generations, not just in the present moment.

PRAYER

Heavenly Father You are wonderful, You are worthy, You are exalted above all the heavens and the earth. You created us in Your own image and likeness to become the salt and the light of the earth and influence the it for the glory and honor of Your name. The earth is Yours Lord and the fullness of it. We desire to draw near to Lord a Jesus as You draw near us. May You heal all those who are sick and suffering.
