THEME: THE LION

Isaiah 11:6-7 NKJV

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall graze; Their young ones shall lie down together; And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.“

INSIGHT

The prophecy of Isaiah regarding the coming of Jesus Christ the Root of Jesse. The Prince of peace who unites every living being, and remains the Head over all. The imagery is taken from the condition of animals of all descriptions living in a state of harmony. The unity of the lion and the calf symbolizes the restoration of the state in Eden, and there reconciliation of man through love in the person of the Son of man. Jesus Himself is the Lion and Lamb who came to redeem us from eternal condemnation. Christ requires that we love Him and one another as ourselves, and remain united for love never fails.

Lord You are Good and Your love endures forever. We love You Lord Jesus and exult Your name, may Your peace that surpasses all human understanding dwell in our hearts and minds in You Prince of peace. May You unite us with Your with our families for Your love endures forever. May You unite all the broken families for Your love endures forever.
