Revelation of the Word:
Revelation of the Word 26/10/2023 Admin
THEME: WISDOM
Proverbs 10:19 NIV
“When words are many, sin is not absent, but he who holds his tongue is wise.”
INSIGHT
-There is much more potential sin in talking than in listening. The one who talks more may be reckless in speech and his/her words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise causes healing (Proverbs 12:18). The one who restrains his tongue is wise for wordiness results to evil but divine blessing is undiluted. Proverbs 17:28 reveals that, even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace; when he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive.”
PRAYER
This is the day that You have made Lord we rejoice and are glad in it. You are Holy Lord and Faithful to keep all Your promises. Your promises are Yes and Amen. May You help us to remain in faith now and forever for the just shall live by faith. Lord Jesus, You have called us to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger, for human anger does not produce the righteousness that You desire. May You help us to be wise and discerning in all things. May You grant us peace, unity and harmony among all people and nations. May You help us to prosper exceedingly, abundantly above all that we may think of or imagine. May You grant us Your favor and grace now and forever more. Amen
